With her being the only woman across the region to lead a project of such stature, Roselyn Square, her first one has already set a benchmark in the industry. With three more equally vast and expansive projects in the pipeline undergoing development, Rosy is like an unstoppable force that cannot be matched. “I have been told that my presence lends an irresistible charm that enforces networking between important agents of change in the region,” smiles Rosy. “Of course, it is much harder for a woman to establish roots in this industry because it is essentially a male dominated field. Females are not widely accepted and have a tough time adjusting to the pressures of this business,” she adds. But Rosy very well changed the notion of this male-dominant industry and has set a path for other women aspiring to make a name in this industry.

Most definitely, in Rosy’s sphere of business, it can be agreed that being a woman is not easy and is also laid with challenges. But Rosy sees herself with an advantageous foundation in not just her own line of business, but in any other, for that matter. “I see every woman as an entrepreneur because women everywhere at any given point in their lives are managing many different tasks that matter to those around them. Being an entrepreneur is all about managing finances, time and human resources – which are things that are judiciously managed by the otherwise overlooked housewife,” explains Rosy.
Over the years, with people seeing women rule in every sector and industry, the perspective of the society has changed and has become more encouraging towards helping them move forward. Men now take women as their serious competition and instead of letting them down, are proud enough to stand together and shake hands with them. “The world’s perspective has changed substantially towards female entrepreneurs as now it has started to realize the true potential of females. People are more trusting towards the commitments and work ethic of females,” adds Rosy.
